Originally a stray cat born on the outskirts of Amber, Ester was adopted and taken into the lab by Bea, in order to run a test on something that it wouldn't matter if died. Ester was given a mutation which morphed her conscious into one of sentience and structure, allowing the feline to have more concrete thoughts, feelings and even speak the same language as the others. Although still a cat by instinct, Ester does typical cat things while using this newfound knowledge. She's rather sassy and sarcastic, allowing herself to interject into conversations and give advice, even if it isn't the best out there. She picks and chooses her favorites, as cats do.

Setting: Ester lives in the large underground lab her owner made, that is located on the outskirts of Amber. This lab has a huge abandoned prison like feel to it, being covered in stones and bars to keep people in and other out. Despite this, Ester does not view the place as a prison and rather enjoys her home. Despite her 2 legged friends Ester is not bound to the lab, and often leaves to go outside into the city, where she frequently has been known to accidentally lead others to the lab who follow her, thinking she is a lost kitten.

Bea Effer (Owner) - Ester's original owner, and giver of her sentience. Despite the poor actions of her owner Ester remains loyal to her owner until her eventual death, where even so she doesn't take another owner. She is basically the giver of all the good things in her life, and Ester can't not love her for that, even with the bad intentions behind it.

Torrin Effer (Best Friend) - Ester's closest two legged friend and her owners daughter. She frequently hangs around the Fox/Wolf Hybrid, giving her questionable advice and a friendly face to talk to. The two are stuck together for life, and even goes with Torrin when she moves to the city, as a roommate of sorts.


Additional stuff to keep in mind: Ester is a blue classic tabby cat by real cat terms, and despite the outdated stylized version of her ref, this is her official patterning! You can draw the more stylized pattern in her older ref, or like a real cat, that's up to you! I also apologize for the poor eyes in the reference, as the style is rather outdated. Her eyes are a sea foam blue, fading from dark blue to a light foamy blue. Her tag is optional.
