Rat adopted Puke actually, Rat was bored of playing with balls, especially tennis balls but he saw a "LOST ABANDONED UNWANTED CAT POSTER" up for adoption! Rat was the only one who wanted adopt Puke!
Rat is legally able to adopt Puke since Rat is 1 years old and puke was 11 months old. Ratadopt him by kidnapping Puke and Puke just goes along with it.
