Jackal is a Sandwing Skywing hybrid who lives near the Sand and Sky Kingdom border with his family. He's a scrappy dragon, who enjoys flying and is quite good at it. He also loves sketching and is often found scribbling away on scrolls and paper scraps. He always has bags under his eyes and is a poor sleeper. He's rather clever and can be rather convincing when he tries. Jackal can sometimes be a bit introverted but is very loyal to those who manage to get close to him. He doesn't have the best stamina but he's pretty quick and charming to make up for it.
His mother is a Skywing and father is a Sandwing who met during the Sandwing Succession War while fighting together on Burn's side. Well aware of Burn's hatred of cross-tribe relationships, they fled together deep into mountains where they had Jackal. After the war ended, their family moved closer to the border in the Sand Kingdom.
