a monster hunter - basically glorified pest control. duties range from wrangling manticores to hunting cockatrices. she's one of the big names - her exploits are told all across the lands. she does her best to be ecologically sustainable (she prefers not to kill if relocation is possible) but that's not always the case. there's a lot of unicorns in this career who look down on her for being an earth pony, so she does 20 times better than they do despite not having telekinesis. a damn good shot with her bow.

she's very rugged. enjoys spending her time out in the outdoors. kind of a hardass. is working to make sure more generations of earth ponies and pegasi are included in the future and care about the ecology. she's strict with her students, but not harsh. she also can't turn down a challenge. if she says "hold my beer", shit's about to go down.

Velvet Patch's mom! surprisingly gentle with her kid. her students are pretty shocked by the way she treats velvet patch haha.

has had a lot of financial troubles in her past and also now. despite her renown she still doesn't get paid nearly enough. plus, she and her partner haven't been the best at handling their finances and have been dealing with a lot of debt. now that velvet's moved out of the house, she's been picking up a lot more jobs + bounties to try and pay it down but it's getting rly rough.
