Introduction
| Loligo's first mate and the scout of the ship. She fled from her toy set world with the dream of adventure. She is very loyal to her captain and has a very obvious crush on him. Some worry that she being taken for granted but she is very well aware of her captain's ways. |

| Optimistic, adventurous, and bold. Avis rarely backs down from a challenge and is always up for collecting treasure. |
History
| Avis was always interested in becoming a pirate when she was a wee baby bird. Of course, many others in her toy set laughed her off, believing her dream to simply be child's play and expected she'd just grow out of them when she got older. And then she got older. And then her pirate obsession got worse because her reading skills got even better and too many people entertained the idea when she was younger. Reading up on the ancient gods on the ancient gods and legends of her world didn't help as she grew particularly interested in a sea faring deity who, after being betrayed by his own crew, was forced into a treasure chest to slumber for eternity. Of course, she still got shoved into a career path she have loved and half loathed as a sailor assistant where she learned more hands on techniques for navigating the seas. Granted, it was to help bring back fish but it was experience nonetheless. Her supervisor and captain of the ship was very aware of his displeasure and, whether than telling her to suck it up, told her to chase her dream instead and gave her an old little wood boat and dropped wee little fun facts about world barriers and how certain spots were much weaker than others. This all escalated into Avis making a break from her toy set for her grand little adventure. Of course, it wasn't easy and she wrecked her boat a bit in the process but she finally made it out and into the wonderous world of pirates and various other fantastical occupations. And she made a beeline straight to that ancient chest she read about all those years ago. |
Skills and Abilities
Avis isn't much of a fighter but she is a hell of an ambusher. If she is given the jump on someone, she makes it count.
