About
Moth is one of five teen superheroes on Team Gamma through the Metahuman Intern Program. While they were sponsored by the prodigious Matron Raven, Moth has made it very clear that they don't care about being a superhero or even doing well on the team's missions. They are on the team simply to keep an eye on their twin, Eva, and screw anything that gets in the way of that. When not out superheroing, Moth can be found practicing the bass guitar, skateboarding, or doing petty crime (like shoplifting and graffiti).
When Team Gamma is out on missions, Moth takes on the alias Null:Void. The only change to their appearance is the inclusion of a simple domino mask that does nothing to conceal their identity and Moth is just as likely to give their real name as their hero name when asked. Moth has the powers of teleportation and power negation, and uses these powers to trick/distract foes rather than engage in any actual fighting. They often get in trouble on missions for not being a team player and disregarding mission parameters to do their own thing.

Story
Before
Moth was born just minutes after their twin sister, Eva, just past the stroke of midnight on January 1st. This makes the two of them born not only on different days, but in different years as well. It’s their favorite fun fact to confuse people with.
Neither were born with any metahuman abilities, much to the disappointment of their parents, supervillains Knight Crusader and Schism (though Moth and Eva knew them only by their true names, Marque and Croix Empyre). This didn’t stop the evil duo, who continued with their plans to induct their children into their cult and take over the world.
So Moth maybe has some issues with religion because of their upbringing. They spent most days getting into fights at school and then being dragged to the creepy and dilapidated church where the cult did its business.
Moth and Eva had every intention of running away together, which suddenly became urgent when their parents revealed their super identities. The twins packed up and got out, running off to the next city. Highschool dropouts and homeless, they survived on Moth’s shoplifting and pick-pocketing as best as they could manage. At least, until the Incident.
Eva was caught up in a super-powered fight between Matron Raven and the nefarious Slaughternaught, and somewhere along the way, manifested a monster out of her own anxiety that started hunting her down. Other powers quickly followed this, such as telekinesis and psychic constructs. Not long after, Moth started displaying their own powers of nullification and teleportation.
In a last ditch effort to protect their sister, Moth approached the Department of Superhuman and Paranatural Affairs and secured an internship for both teens under the sponsorship of Matron Raven. They were both shuffled onto Team Gamma and given room and board under the patronage.

Related
Eva is Moth's twin sister and Moth would literally do anything to protect them. Eva is the entire reason they're in this program after all, so they could keep an eye on her. Moth just wants Eva to be okay because if anything ever happens to her, they're killing everyone in this room and then themself.
Moth is pretty sure that Ghost is the coolest person they know. They're never out of costume and they can do the craziest things and they also disappear in between missions like they have other things to do. Moth wants to hang out with them so bad. Even if they're still a confused about why Ghost would try to break out villains, including Knight Crusader. Moth still hasn't figured out that Robin and Ghost are the same person.
Look, Forrest is so cool. He has weird body morphing powers and can do crazy things and he's always coming up with some rad ideas. Moth is pretty sure they'd be chill to let Forrest be team leader forever. If Matron Raven would allow that, at least. While they don't talk about the big things, Forrest always seems down to do some petty crime, which is a gold star in Moth's book.
Moth still feels like they're trying to get a read on Oliver. Maybe because they never know if Oliver is already in the room, thanks to his shape-shifting abilities. However, they seem like a genuinely wholesome friend who wants to help and support everyone else on the team. Which is, like, cool or whatever.
