The whimsical Witch of Dreams, a voyager who drifts aimlessly in the sea of fragments.

Despite having only lived as a witch for a mere 100 years, they've nearly succumbed to the poison that witches call bordem due to their passive nature. They peer into different fragments, too afraid to commit to a single one unless a happy ending is guarenteed.

The power of dreams allows them to create illusions of a fragment that doesn't exist anywhere in the sea, therefore allowing one to experience a world that has a chance of 0 to occur. However, these fake fragments are easily shattered illusions once anybody realises that's what they are. A small drop of the magic-resisting toxin can be enough to break one. This witch first tried to make happy dreams for humans, but grew resentful when the toxin destroyed their carefully crafted stories. As a result, they decided that humans aren't deserving of such care and instead it's more fun to make dreams that are closer to nightmares.

They used to try and create happy dreams for themselves to live in, but knowing it was an illusion right from the start made them feel empty. When they have no dreams to enjoy, they become despondant and unable to conjure the energy to do anything, so they have to find new dreams to create.

This cowardly witch uses humans to fight off the bordem, showing them dreams of happier fragments with the promise that taking part in a game will grant that ideal future. The Witch of Dreams already declared that an happy future is nothing but a dream, yet they still let foolish humans believe the contrary.

Perhaps there's a part of them who still hopes that someday they'll be proved wrong.
