General
Kazos is a kid that wants to set his life straight one day. He delves in thievery, and occasionally dabbles in scamming people to scrounge up money when he can. He is an enthusiastic, airheaded and mischievous person that lacks a moral conscience, doing the things he does for his own benefit. He's picked up the skill of manipulating strangers to fall for his schemes over the years with his silver tongue, being able to sway them towards believing something a lot of the time. Due to his reputation of shady activity, not many people trust him enough to befriend him.
Fighting Style
Kazos' main ability comes from his illusory magic and ability to shapeshift, taking the forms of others either to fight, or blend into an environment. The main drawbacks to his shapeshifting come from his forms reverting when drenched with water, and a few of his physical features remaining in his altered forms.
Some of his backup abilities involve things like summoning dummies to take hits for him if he's found himself in a fight. He also has access to charm magic to swindle others and occasionally convince them to not harm him. Otherwise, he is somewhat frail and can't hold his own if he doesn't have his magic.
Aeri's Street Rat
Kazos grew up on the streets alone and without much of a way to get by. Because of this, he went down a path of thievery to gain money when he can. He learned of magic at a young age, looking at old books dedicated to the studies of illusory magic. Ever since those days, he's used it as an aid to survive and sneak past a lot of obstacles during his life, and looks to one day have a stable footing on his life.
However, he wasn't so lucky in one encounter. He attempted to scam someone who was highly powerful and aggressive, which earned him an injury that cut into his soul. While it wasn't a fatal blow, he's unable to feel much empathy for others as a result of it. Being a soul injury, it can never heal naturally, and appears as a faintly glowing scar on his chest. He doesn't seem to mind it so much though, even if people are freaked out by it.
Quirks
Kazos is an unpopular figure in the city he frequently roams about and has made a name of infamy from his thievery. He gets around this by donning different forms when trying to do normal tasks.
Kazos' demeanor can be insensitive and he wouldn't realize it. His soul injury tampers with some of his emotions. While he's less likely to be swayed by manipulation himself because of it, he also comes off as emotionless when explaining some of his selfish actions.
Drawing Notes
- Usually has cheated angles when drawn, feel free to interpret things differently if you'd like.
- Usually wears clothes geared towards practicality, sometimes worn clothes since he lives on the streets. Can be drawn in more fashionable clothing, but keep this in mind if you want to draw him accurate to his situation.
- Likes brown and beige in things.

- Kazos enjoys getting himself into hijinks sometimes for the thrill.
