Why do I have to give the saddest backstories to the cutest characters waA

◐Appearance

 Fritter is a long-limbed fox who consists of white and orange fur colors. She doesn't have a tail but instead a fake shrimp tail with the white part being fluffy while the blue parts above being made of shells. Her paws are white but not pure white like her fur.

 ◐Personality

 Meek, shy, and sweet. She's kind and willing to see the best in everyone. She can be a bit insecure and emotional but tries to avoid affecting others with her problems. She's willing to stick up for her friends but needs to learn how to stick up for herself. Will do anything for her friends but is a bit hesitant when it involves danger. 

◐Backstory

 Fritter is a shy timid fox living deep in the forest grounds of Bloom oak. She's just any ordinary fox living her life. While searching the forest for food she is met up with another fox, an alchemist named Flint, who's looking for his lost mask. Fritter helped him find his mask, and ever since then they became friends. Together they spent the days talking about all sorts of stuff and exploring alchemy. They went on small adventures discovering parts of the forest they haven't gone to.

     Without Fritter knowing it, Flint started getting some feelings for her. He couldn't muster up the courage to tell her until one faithful afternoon, he confessed his feelings straight to her. But to his surprise, Fritter didn't take it lightly and had felt overwhelmed by this news. She couldn't come up with a thing to say and run away. She wasn't ready for what was to come and needed some time to think. When getting near to the edge of the forest, her tail suddenly gets stuck in a bear trap.

     During the struggle to get free, she lost the tail in the trap. With nothing but a stub left, she cried in pain. Little did she know that her cries would be heard by a nearby ringmaster. When the ringmaster tried finding the cries origin, he found the tailless fox helpless on the ground. Now standing behind her with an idea in mind. She was caught by the ringmaster and was brought to his circus.

     The ringmaster sewed onto her a tail. Not any fox tail but a fake shrimp tail. His plan was to fool people into believing she was hybrid of some sort. When she was brought onto the stage, people did believe. They were all fools. And now Fritter's job is to be the freak show of the circus.
