Eli

Eli is the big guy of the group, a psychical power house and Virgil’s best friend, Eli is a man of few words but somehow he is the responsible one of the group, he is seldom seen without his massive mallet, growing up in a quarry town he was told that his tools are his life. He is very chill but also very protective and loves jazz music.

Virgil met Eli while the latter was working as a bouncer/body guard for a pretty seedy club Virgil used to frequent, things would often escalate and Virgil being a loud mouth was always at the center of these issues and Eli would often have to throw him out but always had a soft spot for him because of keeping things interesting and would always let him in. One night there was a shootout in the club and Virgil took a bullet in the shoulder for Eli who was surprised that someone would risk their lives for someone who'd just consider himself expendable. Eli's boss had taken the injured Virgil a "hospital" and it would be months before Eli saw him again but something was different, his eyes were black now and his irises were like a neon green, he seemed disoriented and weak so Eli decided to keep an eye on him until he was able to function again, within a few days Virgil had regained himself only with a gap in his memory of the last couple of months.

Eli quit his job and started working with Virgil at his newly established mercenary group and thus the two became best friends and rivals battling together, drinking together and fighting with each other all the time, but Eli knows something was up with his old boss and he wants to figure out what he did to Virgil and how far his power really goes.
