Raven

Raven, born Grace Anne Hayes, was born in the south of the USA to an army man and her mentally unwell wife.

Growing up for young Raven was never easy, her father was supposedly always off at war and her mother never mentally there to take care of her, she learned how to take care of herself at a very young age. She never met her father, and only went by what her mother told her and his dogtags.

By the time she was a young adult, Raven was living in her car after the death of her mom with her dog, Scout.

She jumped job to job, never truly finding her calling.

Strangely, she seemed to fit in well with the post-apocalypse world, managing to survive the initial start.

She joined a gang known as the Afflicted, a ruthless and bloody gang known for their ‘unethical’ initiation process who promised survivors safety. The process involves going through excruciating pain - things like tattoos, scarification and piercings are most common, basically a form of torture. Raven endured the initiation and stayed with the group out of pure necessity and survival. Raven bided her time, secretly taking their resources and weapons until she simply left dead in the night with her friend Atticus, a fellow member. With the boss angered, Raven went into hiding from the gang and is still hiding to this day.
