Though, I will copy what I wrote to you to put here, because I can't be bothered to rewrite stuff 8D

Haldora was born a half-spirit. Her father was a spirit who slipped through the outer edge of the Apismian universe, and had a family with a living inkdrian. Unfortunately, Hadora never knew him, as he left right after she was born. Haldora grew up like any other person, with some exceptions, like her mother’s constant insistence that she was completely normal, despite the gnawing feeling she wasn’t.

She didn't learn about her father's heritage until one day when she slipped on ice while on a bridge and ended up falling, and cracking her skull wide open. If it didn’t happen as quick as it did, Haldora wouldn’t expected to die right then, but she didn’t. Instead, she turned into dust, and was carried off to the place she was born.
Being completely caught off guard and terrified by this, Haldora asked her mother how what happened was possible, but her mother didn't want to give her a clear answer. Haldora, fed up with her mother’s obvious secret keeping, left home, in search for answers. During this search, she found a way to get into Apismia, and leapt at the chance this info gave her.
Once she got there, she did everything she could to learn about her heritage, but found she was considered an outcast due to her being a spirit born outside of the afterlife, not to mention not being a full spirit.
Eventually, after living in Apismia for a long time, Haldora got sick of the comments from everyone she met, and decided to learn the way of one of Apismia's swords to show people that she wasn't lesser by being who she was.

After many grueling years of training, in the ways of the sword, to control the two forms of a half-spirit, and even the traits that came with being an inkdrian, she was accepted into the Cynanian military. Since the country was in a state of anarchy at the moment, Haldora's job was to help secure the rule of the new rulers, and take down anyone else who tried to become a world leader.
Many battles took place, with Haldora slowly climbed the ranks. And in time she was placed with two other up-and-comers named Coye and Erle. The three of them were a force not to mess with. However, when the 5th Emperor came to try and take over the sector they were stationed in, the three of them were told to stay out of the fight. Originally, they obeyed their orders, however in time that was impossible, as the three were staring the emperor in the face before long. The emperor gestured to their fallen comrades, and demanded the three stand down, or face his wrath, just like the others. The trio refused, and readied themselves for combat.

It was a fierce fight, with all three of them becoming gravely injured, but none of them were willing to give in. In a desperate move, Haldora switched forms, and rushed the emperor, taking a fatal blow in the process. The emperor laughed, thinking he had lowered the numbers in the fight, not knowing Haldora had sacrificed her living half. Suddenly, he was blinded by a harsh light emitting from his assumed defeated foe. Then, without warning, the emperor’s arm was cleaved clean off. Soon attacks from Coye and Erle followed, felling the 5th emperor, and ending his reign.

In the end, the trio were awarded not only high rank, but individual titles. For Haldora, she was dubbed “Haldora the Light”.

Haldora is a relatively no-nonsense person, who tends to lean hard into the teachings of tough love, both towards friends and students. She is very adept at what she does, though almost never considers herself better than those due to it. And, she is a great teacher, easily seeing where a person is struggling.
However, she has no patience for slights against her, no matter how small it may seem. If she tells you to do something, you better do it.

Coye is one of Haldora's original teammates. Haldora has always admired them for their boldness, especially in combat. However, after centuries of hearing them and Erle bicker back and forth, it's a bit hard to always like them. Nevertheless, Haldora will always stand beside and train with them, as by this point, her, them, and Erle are an inseparable trio.

Just like Coye, Erle is one of Haldora's original teammates. She has always found his near constant cool-headedness to be his greatest strength. However Haldora always feel the need to facepalm when that poise goes out the window when he's bickering with Coye. God, she really wishes they'd just get over it already... Nevertheless, Haldora will always stand beside and train with him, as by this point, her, him, and Coye are an inseparable trio.

Ah yes, the current Emperor of Apismia. Haldora has heard quite a lot about her... from perspective students trying to learn the Emperor's fighting style. God it's annoying! Haldora has seen the Emperor fight a few time now, and her tweilade fighting style is terrible. The worst part is the Emperor refuses to come in and learn how to actually use a tweilade, Claiming she "doesn't use one". Impossible, the only other sword that looks similar to a tweilade is a levilade, and that sword is a said to be impossible to use!

Artemis is a seedrian Haldora met when on a special mission from the General of the Apismian military. At first, Haldora thought he had simply pulled her into his other job as one of the Sages of Sonny against her will. However, when she saw Artemis fight for the first time, Haldora knew she had potential, that if this kid had a mentor of sorts she could become an amazing fighter, with the skill to overcome any foe. Over time, Haldora came to warm up to the young seedrian, even considering her a friend, and although Artemis is still nowhere near what Haldora saw in her, Haldora still enjoys any time she spends with her.
