An only child in an awful place. Welby’s childhood years would have been better spent in a ditch than in the house they lived in. There wasn’t anything in that house they cared for, and nothing in it cared for them either. They were always considered weird, and they took this “weirdness” as a way to rebel against their parents, though that’d usually get them nothing but a punch in the face and a kick to the stomach. Not like they could do much about anything in their situation, so they’d often keep themself busy, going on and about around their little town, and spend the night outside under the stars just to avoid going back home.
Gladly they weren’t always alone, their childhood friend was always there, making them company, making life worth living for another day… They always managed to bring a little bit of hope into their life.. If it wasn’t for them Welby’s life would have ended long ago. It was their friend’s idea to run away after all, saving them from going back to their father after a specially rough beat up.. All it took was that little push for Welby to feel at home, despite living in the streets and barely having anything to eat, they were so much happier with being alive than they’ve been their entire life..
It was Wenzell’s doing what brought them into the circus too, a desperate call for help that finally got an answer.. The people there accepted them both and cared for them in a way Welby never thought was possible, their entire world turned upside down. They owe everything good in their life to Wenzell and the circus, and they’ll follow their steps without a doubt, wherever it may bring them.

Walder
[ Leader ]
Walder is what Welby wished their parents were. Accepting, kind and willing to spoil them in every single way possible. He knows them like the back of his hand and Welby LOVES that, they love the way he just always knows what they need or how to help them whenever they need him..
Wilkie
[ Puppy Eyes ]
Wilkie has the cuteness advantage on his side, Welby knows they wouldn't be where they are if it wasn't for him, but that doesn't stop them from using his tactics to get what they want whenever it's needed, even though most the time just means using his puppy eyes to get to Walder so they can have more free time and less work
Wolka
[ Baby ]
Wolka is Welby's little princess. They will spoil her just as much as they've been spoiled by everybody else in the circus. They constantly look out for things she can wear and accessories that'll fit her because she deserves it.
Nes
[ Sweetheart ]
Sweet Ness is the person Welby always can count on to get discounts at stores. The only person that'll take them out to the market and make sure they don't spend every single penny they have in low quality fabrics, though she doesn't care about those much herself. She's also always willing to help Welby with their bags. There's nothing that's more fun that going out with her
Waddle
[ Short King ]
Waddle is always giving Welby attention and for that they really like him. He's always kissing their hands and hugging them and complimenting their outfits and Welby just can never get enough of that.
Wacko
[ Stylish Queen ]
Wacko too is very good at giving Welby the attention they crave, but in the opposite way, where she lets them dress her up and do her make up constantly, Welby wishes they looked as good as Wacko does any time they get her a new dress or suit. It took them a while to understand her though, the idea of not showing emotions was always such a weird concept to them, but with time they learned that she just had a different way to do it. They're always really happy to see her enjoy their time together..
Wenzel
[ Best Friend ]
Wenzel is Welby's everything, they wouldn't be where they are today if it wasn't for them. They owe them absolutely everything they are and can do to them. They always know what to say and what to do and Welby would trust their entire future in their hands. They've been friends since they can remember, there's nothing they wouldn't do for Wenzel.. as long as they let them try new clothes on them too. Matching is important, after all.
Wiley
[ Mess ]
Wiley used to scare Welby to their core, despite being such a scrawny little man he always looked like he was ready to start a fight. It wasn't too hard to warm up to him once he was around for good. He wound up being a really good listener, especially with things Welby struggles about.
Winston
[ Small Hurricane ]
Winston is a delight to be around since the moment Welby set their eyes on him. He sweettalks a lot, a complimenter, but that's what Welby is about. He's the best support when it comes to their act too, they can always trust Winston to catch them if they ever miss the bars.
