Quirks & Habits
Lucius has a tendency to talk with his talons, having trouble sitting still. He often expresses himself through non-verbal insights while analyzing a situation, being quite expressive, although he supresses displaying more malicious emotions in front of others.
Communication skills
Lucius is incredibly deceitful, and while an articulate, concise speaker and preacher, he often lies of his intentions or uses manipulative terms and discriptions, dodging around candor. Due to this, his communication is often done after calculating a situation, only to then take over with subtle words to convince others of his side without directly saying the malicious aspects of it.
Showing affection
While Lucius is charismatic and rather flirtatious, flaunting and courting practically everyone, he is never one for long-term, commited relationships, and can be rather aloof and cold if anyone were to try to engage with him in such a relation/regard. He hardly ever shows genuine affection to anyone, if at all.

In general, he has a similar facial shape to that of a vulture, in a regard, but is also quite slender and angular.
Scars & Marks
Lucius naturally has a sun-like shaped ring around his head and his tail, with the latter being less of natural light and looking more like tangible material. He lacks any 'imperfections' in his skin, makig sure to be completely markless of anything he deems will take away from his beauty.
Tattoos
While lacking actual tatoos, he does consistently wear gold, studded, diamond-shaped rings and bands, leading some to guess it is permanently attached to him, when in reality, it is just a rather consistent stylistic choice for the divinity.
Piercings
He has percings around his ears, where he occasionally wears earrings similar to his bands, or sun-shaped-- anything bold, dazzling, and that can get the spotlight all on him.
Wardrobe
As aforementioned, he is often in gold jewelery, sometimes wearing silks or robes that appeal to whatever mood or situation he is in. He occasionally wears fedoras, bowler hats, or really any tie, as long as it appeals to his colors of white, gold, or anything around that range.

Story
Childhood
Lucius was the child of two noble divinities, being instantly spoiled at birth and pampered. He lived a childhood of ease and comfort, but also emotional neglect via. his parents-- not that he minded, really. They gave him what he wanted materialistically, and that was enough (however, this conceding was heavily influenced by the fact that it was all he ever knew).
As he grew up, his relationship with his parents became more strained, making him rather independent and closed off from others. He excelled academically, being heavily critical and insightful, often influencing others to believe in him, slowly climbing up in terms of status to a place of heavy influence and power, truly usurping his title of being a divine royal. However, due to his emotional neglect as a child, he grew apathetic, often disregarding death or anything that would induce mourning.
Leadership
After climbing up in terms of status, he usurpsed the role of king within a region of the mortal world. Throughout his rain, he barred any form of religion, defiant expression, or anything he deemed as a threat. He would often bargain with pirates, thieves, or anyone that came to him, as long as he benifitted in some way after it. Despite him and his actions being rather cruel, he covered it up using his skillful preaching, using false words and candor to maintain faith in him. During his reign, he an individual named Bloody Valentine, who was a noble of the area-- a noble whom Lucius was infatuated with. Valentine was unique to the others in how he rejected Lucius's advances, while also matching him intellectually, dissecting all of his speeches, beliefs, and really opposing anything Lucius said in an articulated, well-supported manner. Due to this, Lucius found him to be 'unique' to the other 'peasants', being more genuinely flirtatous around him, despite his advances constantly being shot down.
He slowly, but surely, inserted himself as both the religious advisor, and the diety being followed as well. During a drought and famine, in fact, he refused to assist his people, as they did not praise him as the ultimate divity, or gave any of their bearings to him. He twisted the situation to reflect the laziness of the people, and how they 'misused his investments', but, in his 'supreme empathy' decided to spare them, at the cost of just a few hundred children (reason being he had bargained with some neighboring kingdom for in turn for ores/expensive jewelery). After some time, when the land was entirely drained, he deemed that the people misused his benevolence, returning to the heavens, also manipulating the other divinities into reflecting such beliefs. Throughout all of this, Bloody Valentine only grew to despise him more, regardless of everything Lucius promised him in marriage or along his side, viewng him to be entirely corrupt and 'frankly' disgusting. Undeterred, Lucius did not back down, even as he left the kingdom.
Return to Heaven
After his time in leadership, many considered the fall of his kingdom to be his fault, reflecting his poor behaviors. He smoothed everything over by showing all of the investments he made, and how financially successful it was, deflecting the fault onto the people for *their* poor management, rather than his own. After much convincing, he was allowed back into the council of divinities, ensuring his place of power
His father, however, saw past his lies-- his return to power meant that his father could easly be eliminated from the council. When his father confronted him about it, however, he allowed his father to report it-- little did he know, Lucius planted false evidence of his father making notes and entries of how he would falsely accuse his son to maintain his spot of power (with the help of some... less desirable fugitives, giving them money in return but nobody had to know that). This meant not only the demotion, but also the exiling of his father. After he lost his divine position, Lucius used this oppertunity of hus mortal-turned father to kill him, silencing one of the only voices who knew him well enough to protest him.
Present
Lucius continues to reside in heaven, living a life of luxury. He continues to climb up in terms of status through aristocracy, often charming and courting individuals in order to gain more of their trust. Not only that, but he will make silent bargains with people below him (often through force or coercion, due to his power), or criminals (promising to share some of his bearings with them-- a lie) in exchange for more wealth, support, or really any form of prosperity for him. Despite his lack of development in terms of morality, he did truly form a connection.
Bloody Valentine, after many years, made it to Heaven, being a noble and somewhat of an honorary-divinity. Due to his arrival, Lucius has continued to try to get him on his side, and uses the connections he has made to try to manipulate or pressure Valentine into engaging with him-- while weath and his regality is important to him, he is also adamant in getting what he wants. And in this case, what he wants is Valentine.

Fighting style
Lucius hardly engages in physical fights, often using his words and influence instead (or having others do it for him). However, when he does, he uses his light-and-fire abilities to his advantage, often giving a quick, but not always painless, death to his enemies, finding it rather 'tedious', if anything. However, if truly enraged, he will go for more traditional methods of standard weapons, often targeting a specific person, and passing it off as another loss among many.

Lucius is able to efficiently bend light to conduct heat, flashes, bolts, or really anything you can imagine that correlates to light. He often uses it to blind, disarm, or even burn his opponents, as well as creating general spectacles.
Lucius can form a sun-like structure in areas not in his head or tail, which can practically scorch or blind anyone, functioning similar to a fireball or a laser. Oftentimes, while using the ability, he can take a phoenix-like-form. However, he has not fully mastered this ability, leading him to only use it in extreme cases.
Other than magical abilities, Lucius is also quite the talented swordsman, having learned from several tutors at a young age, mostly due to his yearning for an increase in power, as well as the furthering of skills outside of what he was born with.
If there's one thing Lucius knows how to do, it's how to speak. His biggest weapon is his words, being articulate and persuasive, often ending arguments and fights that way, gaining support through his verbal skills and social influence, as opposed to his fists.

Lucius is constantly trying to win Valentine over, although the intentions behind it are dubious, and one could question if it is genuine love or just out of benefit (considering the fact Valentine caught his eye due to how he rejected him in several instances). Either way, Valentine is entirely uninterested, and any positives are only from Lucius's end.

In his time of leadership, Plaguetalon, a dragon with a complicated father-son dynamic with Bloody Valentine, was taken under his wing by Lucius. Lucius expanded his knowledge and general skills of combat, writing, art, etcetera, while Plaguetalon, in exchange, gave him information on Valentine. The two basically exploited eachother, and so it was a mutual unhealthy dynamic.
