STORY | PERSONALITY |
Reigh is just a 16 year old girl trying to find her way. She lives in the coastal region of Nova Scotia, Canada, where the ocean is just a short walk away and the air is cool and fresh. Despite being a seal, her province's booming fishing industry and easy access to the ocean is more appealing aesthetically than it is practically. She loves the coastal views and the ocean trails her city offers, but the actual swimming and eating part leaves a bad taste in her mouth (literally). Reigh hates pretty much any kind of seafood, giving her the title "world's most inconvenient seal". The sight and smell of fish makes her sick to her stomach, and even the thought of lobster leaves her absolutely terrified. There's something about it's bug-like appearance and appalling way it's cooked that fuels her phobia like fear of them. As for swimming, she won't say no to lazing around in the shallow waves, but swimming over her head (especially in the ocean) freaks her out and she can only tolerate it for so long. Also, since she's so lazy, the actual act of swimming is exhausting for her and she'd much rather just lie down on the rocks and take a nap. She's currently going through grade 11, and is in her first year of the IB program. Although she's not necessarily a bad student, she has a knack for procrastination and ends up spending more time watching horror movies and reading manga than studying for her Paper 1 or writing her HI. Regardless, her teachers and classmates all love her, although she wouldn't exactly call herself "popular". She doesn't speak up in class much, and doesn't have many friends, but since she's with the same kids in all her classes for two years, they've all grown to respect and care for each other. She doesn't have anyone she's particularly close with at the moment, and she's had a few failed girlfriends in the past that she never got to be truly affectionate with. Regardless, she's still on a search to find a girl that truly loves her as much as she loves them. You'd could say she's a bit of a hopeless romantic, heh. | --- Under construction --- |
