Personality

Mileena is a dreamer, who lives in their appartment and barely goes outside. They were a nightmare hunter back then, even thou they were in a wheel chair since birth. However, since they got chronically sick and are close to dying, they now teach Kiwi a lot about the nightmare hunters, hoping she will fight for the right thing. And take care of their plants, when Mileena is dead. They miss their past a lot and are often melancholic, but they try not to drag the mood down of others. After all, some have a worse fate then them.

They often look out of the window, dreaming of their past days. And they read a lot to forget reality. But they also sleep a lot, since they are always tired. In fact, they could stay in their bed for days. Another reason for this is because they are bad at social interaction, so they rather interact with plants then with other dreamers. The only exception is Kiwi.

Current Situation

Even Mileena, who rarely goes outside, noticed the uprising of nighters and nightmares. Therefore, they plan to introduce Kiwi, their student and best friend, more to the world of nightmare hunters. They know of Kiwi's past and how she could never kill someone. But they know that Kiwi might have to learn how to fight, if she wants to survive.

Besides this, Mileena also takes care of their plants and treats them very well. However, they slowly seem to wither. And Mileena knows: Their last day might begin soon.

Creation

Mileena was created by stargazerkittycat on DeviantArt and owned by my friend Bluejay (Traffycakes) before I bought them for 10$. Along with 5 other OCs, Mileena joined my OC collection and got quickly into "Feral Nightmares". And now, they will join ArtFight 2022 as one of my two mascots, because the wither theme fits them a lot!

Dreams of Forests

Can talk to plants and dreams, which are little pink clouds/pink fog. Therefore, they know of events others don't even know about.

Grass Heart

The plants in their home show their health. Even if they treat them as best as they can, they slowly wither, showing that Mileena gets weaker and weaker.

Helping roots

Still has a little bit of magic, with which they can cast roots from the ground, who help them with some things.

Acid Tongue

They have toxic salvia, which can kill someone easily. With this, they already killed some nighters.

Hunter Soul

Used to fight with arrow and bow in their wheelchair. However, since they are super weak now, they can barely use this weapon anymore.

Patching up

Can make plushies. When they put special leaves into them, the plushies become alive, keeping them company.

Backstory

Mileena was born with a paralyzed lower body in a nightmare hunter family. Nobody had hopes in them. Nobody thought they could achieve something. And Mileena hated it. They hated the gazes of their parents, who thought of them as a weak nobody. And so, Mileena teached themselves to fight with arrow and bow in their wheelchair. They learned to hunt. They learned to fight. And they quickly moved out of their family's home. They didn't want to have to see them every day, when they are not their family.

As "Mint Breeze", Mileena became a really famous nightmare hunter, killing the most evil of Nighters and cruel nightmares. They were infamous and a role model for every hunter, since they managed to bring down the biggest enemies in their wheelchair. However, one day, the coughing started. The nosebleeds started. And Mileena knew: They hadn't much time anymore.

In search of a student to follow their legacy, Mileena searched for a dreamer. And found them in Kiwi, a shy and sweet plant seller. However, Kiwi never wanted to become a hunter thanks to her past. Mileena understood this, but despite this, they became friends. And now, Mileena teaches Kiwi a lot about plants.

Species Lore

Dreamers are an advanced species of Dreams. They are mostly Anthros or Ferals with very special skills. It's difficult to say who is a dreamer, since they all look very different. But all of them have powerful magic and most of them also hunt nightmares. Most of them are in an organisation, where they get more money for hunting nightmares. And some are "lone wolfs", hunting on their own for their own reasons.

Mileena is a Dreamer, who hunted nightmares in their past. However, since they got "Sleeplove", a sickness, which hunters might get from incredibly strong nightmares and which always ends fatal after days to weeks to years, Mileena now searches for someone to continue their legacy.
