Fidelity Sparks (Fi)

UP! UP! UP!

Fi grew up with their mother Bo in a rural area. Though the place is less than tight knit, everybody loves Fi. Head of the school’s newspaper club, they make sure the tribune is more acclimated to sharing smiles than gossip.

As they grow, the newspaper morphs into a weekly radio show where Fi recounts things of the week, along with hosting an anonymous advice corner. The segment is a hit with the whole town.

In the height of high school and Fi’s career, Bookmark is thrust into a new job in Pyne City, forcing them to move in Fi’s last year. That’s when they meet Liam.

SPRING FLOWERS BLOOM

Fi and Liam hit it off right off the bat. Xey ask them for a tour on the first day and maybe it’s because of how xey asked (or maybe because Liam was already slated to do it anyways) but they agree. The two of them end up talking the whole while, fooling around and barely paying attention to where they were going.

This, of course, leaves Fi with butterflies in xier stomach and no way of knowing the way to xier 3rd period class. Xey fumble for the rest of the day as well.

But when they have another chance meeting with Liam after the final bell rings, xey invite him to hang out. They’ve no plans, so they accept.

That’s how Fi found xier best friend. And once they were both graduated, jobbed and friends for the past couple years, that’s how xey found their first love.

MONEY IS NO ISSUE

Fi and Liam are an inseparable pair. Even when Liam has to go on their lame business trips, the two don’t go more than a couple days without talking. And even then, they text everyday, which is just talking for Fi anyways. So when Liam goes M.I.A suddenly, Fi begins to worry.

After three days of silence Fi goes to the police. They promise to do something, but the man who wrote the report simply placed it on a huge pile of papers. This route wasn’t going to work.

So, if the public was unwilling to work, maybe the private would.

Fi spends the rest of the night dialing agencies. None of them take xem seriously, calling xem a prankster or a nuisance. Xey’re about to give up when finally…

“…Hello?”

“Hi! I’m Fidelity Sparks. I—I was hoping to hire you for a case—“

“Okay.”

“Okay?”

“Okay.”

And that’s how Fi meets Sharpie in his worst moment.

LIAM ORION

Relationship - GREAT

Liam is Fidelity’s best friend in the world. They’ve been through what feels like eons of thick and thin. Xey just want them to be found safe and sound so the two of them can continue living the good life together.

MARCELLA MARK

Relationship - GOOD

Sharpie took up the case when no one else would. Fidelity holds him in very high regard for that. He’s sturdy in a shy sort of way and Fidelity finds it really fun the way he reacts to things.

They don’t even mind that he's sleeping on their couch every night.

BO SPARKS

Relationship - GOOD

Mother. Loves her dearly.

A real close friend of Fi's. Runs a local cafe named after himself. Thinks that's extremely fun!

Owner of the Circleback Arcade and Fidelity's honorary uncle.

A local at the Circleback Arcade. Can be a bit annoying sometimes.
