Am-heh

Am is genderfluid; able to present themselves in their human form as both female and male. While serving under Maibe (see links) as a servant priest however, Am typically presents as male and uses he/him pronouns. He is Maibe’s most trusted priest, but no one knows the true reason the two are so close.

Am-heh’s true form is Ammit, the monstrous creature with a black slimy body of tar similar in shape to that of a lion and/or hippo, with a long crooked muzzle like that of a crocodile’s. While Ammit, Am typically uses she/her pronouns. Her five eyes stare into the soul of one that Maibe/Anubis has condemned, locked onto her target to ensure she consumes the correct person once given the order to. The rocky combination lock around her neck twists and turns as she moves, and only Maibe/Anubis knows the correct combination of hieroglyphs to unlock Ammit’s power, enabling her to consume an unlucky soul.
