THE MUSICIAN

(He/Him)

PLAYLIST:

Punk Greaser Anarchy

 Backstory

Frankie is the son of a cop and a successful business woman, coming from a rich family that thrived on having a good reputation. Ever since he was a child, Franklin enjoyed dancing and playing various instruments. He had the soul of a rebel which put him in a bad spot with his parents who kept comparing him to his older and successful businessman brother, Mikey. But he Frankie could never imagine himself working a 9 to 5 and selling his soul to the machine. He's always viewed his brother as a snake oil salesman who preys on the poor and gullible and he would rather die than be like him. Instead, Frankie wanted to inspire people with his music. Despite being popular in his younger years, and having a band back then, Frankie's musical career didn't take off as he was struggling to find someone to take him and his band seriously, and eventually, the band members grew apart and disbanded. But Frankie didn't give up. His parents, however, had about enough of him, the loud music, and his rebellious nature, and eventually Frankie was kicked out of his home.  For a while, he made ends meet playing on the streets until he was able to get a job fixing cars and motorbikes at a garage.

While at work one day, a rather large and intimidating looking man brought his ride to the garage to get fixed. Frankie recognized him, it was his former lover Maximus, a man he had been in an on/off relationship with a decade prior. There he stood, tall, and much more broader than Frankie remembered him to be. A rainbow tattoo on his chest that Frankie found ironic seeing that what made their relationship fail was Max's unwillingness to accept his own homosexuality. But he changed, or so he told the musician. He wanted a second chance, and stupidly? Frankie agreed.  Max had told him that he was now a businessman and he was very successful so he lived a luxurious life. It wasn't until one day, Max barged into the garage and confessed to Frankie that he wasn't a businessman, and he was, in fact, the leader of the Legionary, a criminal gang that had control over the area where Frankie's garage was and to Max's surprise, Frankie didn't care. Everyone is trying to get by and if Max could make cash being a gang leader then so be it.  In all honesty, Frankie preferred Max as a gang boss over Max the businessman.

Personality

Frankie is known for his strong personality. No matter what he's faced against, he will triumph. His struggle with his brother has taught him self-love and that his worth is not related to what job he works or how much money he makes or even what people think of him. He will never let anyone control him or walk all over him. He's determined and very passionate about what he believes and fights for.

People around Frankie usually describe him as being well mannered and kind, despite his greaser aesthetic. Frankie is nice to those who are nice to him and a nightmare to those who aren't. He could seem cold and distant to the wrong people, and despite his background of law breaking, he actually has no idea how to fight. But he sure knows how to swing a pipe or a crowbar, or whatever he finds lying around in the garage so watch out!

Appearance

Frankie is a lean, well built man, standing at 6'2. He's not lanky but he's not exactly masculine either. His hair is a dark black, styled the Greaser way with a pompadour, long with a mullet in the back. His eyes are blue, and his nose is long with a sharp bridge and small nostrils. He has sideburns that connect somewhat to stubble that grows around the underside of his cheeks and jaw, and a not too thick mustache. He likes to dress in leather, often times wearing a leather jacket. Or you can find him sporting some tracksuits, sometimes even some sleeveless jackets and muscle shirts under.

Relationships

Parents

He isn't on good terms with his parents as they often found him too much of a hassle. He was outspoken which they found rude, and his interests and passions were seen as disappointing as his parents often told him that there was no real value in his musical pursuit. After they had kicked him out, Frankie cut off contact with them.

Mikey

Being compared to his brother constantly has made Frankie detest Mike. He often saw his brother as a dishonorable man who scammed people out of their money, and yes, even though that was what he did, to Mikey, it was just a game that he was good at so why not make money out of it? Unlike his parents though, Mikey did try to reach out to Frank after he was kicked out and even offered to help him financially but Frank refused to accept his aid and wanted nothing to do with his brother or their family.

Friends

Frankie is well respected and loved which makes him popular among groups of people. Despite that, he has few friends. Not everyone you know and talk to can be considered a friend after all.

Love

He's had a few relationships, one that even lasted years. Frankie doesn't label himself, he never called himself a straight or gay or bisexual man, he simply is who he is and can fall in love with any sex or gender as long as there's a strong connection.

Max

Frankie and Max are childhood friends. They didn't start out at the best of terms but slowly built a strong friendship. However things would go downhill fast when Max starts experiencing feelings for Frankie that he doesn't quite like and has a hard time comprehending. Eventually their feelings boil over resulting in a heated argument that turned physical where Max threw Frankie over the roof of a building. After that, Frankie decided to leave Max and the two would part ways for a decade until they accidentally run into each other during Frankie's shift as a mechanic. Max was desperate to apologize and ask Frankie for a second chance, and despite his best judgment, Frankie agreed, however, they would start their relationship all over again from zero. Max has changed and he wanted Frankie to know that. The two now have a strong unbroken relationship.
