THE SAGE...?
How to ascend to godhood is common knowledge: find one of the gods and eat it. Of course, doing so is more easily said than done. Perhaps the gruesome nature of such an endeavor explains why Luned, ascended god The Sage, is able to exhibit such serenity even in her cruelest moments. However, despite all ascended gods taking on such a task, it is Luned alone whose domain seems to be corrupting. Recently, she's found herself slowly shifting from The Sage and into The Dark -- a fate which can only precede mindlessness and oblivion. Thus, her only solution seems to be finding another domain to embody: the lofty and beloved role of The Princess. Unfortunately, this means joining forces with a rather troublesome Dragon...

It's said that Luned didn't ascend to godhood unaccompanied. In fact, some whispers remain that she only consumed so much of the god she did to protect her twin sister from having to do it alone. Where that sister is now, however, is lost to time -- and perhaps to the knife on Luned's belt.
Corruption comes in many forms, after all.
