Bison is a sturdy, thick furred tom with heavy bangs obscuring his eyes. His pelt is a dark oaky brown, with darker gradients along his shoulders, legs, and head. He has tan markings in various spots as well, including just above his nose. Under his bangs are pale, almost grey blue eyes, similar to his mother's. Overall, Bison is almost a spitting image of his father, spare his nub tail, something he had lost in the attack before joining TundraClan.

Bison, despite everything he's seen in his short life, is rather laid-back. He often tries his best to act as emotional support to his mother and remaining brother, though it's not always an active decision. Rather, Bison seems to understand his role as protector at a fundamental level, often being the first cat to take the brunt of something, if things come to it. He will take the blame as needed, sometimes even for things he wasn't responsible for, if it means protecting those he loves.

As a result, this also means that it is rather easy to manipulate and take advantage of Bison. He has a good head on his shoulders, and often sees the best in cats, regardless of if they deserve it. While Bison is easy going, he's also eager to learn. Intellect isn't exactly his strong suit, but he still manages to be skilled in areas where it matters. Getting the tom to be open can be a little difficult, but it's only because Bison himself often doesn't really understand his feelings.

Bison is a friendly cat, and generally comes across as charasmatic. Sometimes. On occasion, though, Bison can get lost in his thoughts. Ever since the wolf attack, the memories of his siblings are heavy on his mind, and there are moments Bison simply sits and thinks of them.

Born to kitty-pet parents, Bison had a fairly comfortable life. His father, while not always present, frequently visited him and his littermates. That was until his father disappeared mysteriously. Time passed, and Florence, their mother, grew anxious of Coffee's whereabouts. She decided to set out to try and find him, taking the kits along with her. It didn't take long for the five of them to get lost in the cold, with no experience, and no food. The group were soon attacked by a pack of wolves that had been roaming the same area, and both of Bison's sisters lost their lives. Devastated and desperate, Florence took her remaining kits, Bison and Coyote to find TundraClan, after being informed of them through a cat named Marbles.
