6 feet even - Rowan was a total beanpole growing up, but they’ve grown into it. Mostly. Still just as awkward as their first day of high school - handles it better, at least, due in some part to the fact that they look like one mean sonofabitch (to be fair, they can be. They’ve got a bad case of resting bitch face, and it’s genuine at least 70% of the time). The scars across their face don’t help much, either - one across the bridge of their nose, and the other clean through their left eyebrow. Rowan’s eyes are green - nothing extraordinary, but that suits them just fine. Their hair is scruffy, a nice shade of chestnut; though they’ve started graying at 25 (it’s nice, Flynn tells them). Their beard isn’t in much better shape, since Rowan has better things to be doing than beard care: anything else, honestly. Shaving is the worst, and the time it takes? Awful. The only time anything gets done about that is when Flynn gets involved. The last time it got bad enough, Flynn complained for HOURS that they were literally getting a rash from Rowan’s scruff when they kissed. Wouldn’t kiss them again until they took care of it (an empty threat - Flynn couldn’t last longer than a day). The rest of their body is just as hairy, for similar reasons (why take the time to shave, especially when you worked so hard for the body hair in the first place? Doesn’t make sense). 

Their ears are gauged - thought about getting industrials, but it’s never really gone anywhere. They’ve also got a tattoo on their chest: IX.VII.MCMXCIII. No one really knows what it means - Rowan has their secrets, after all. They’ve got a prosthetic leg - their left - that they’ve had since childhood. They’ve gone through less than you’d expect, though, since they always run them into the ground. No need to go through all the hassle of getting refitted. If it’s still usable, what’s the point? It has absolutely nothing to do with how anxious that shit makes them. Fuck off. 

Rowan’s hands are beat up from years of being a stupid kid getting into dumb shit, followed by years of hard labor. They’ve got scars up along their arms, too. They don’t talk much about them and, usually, no one asks. Rowan’s go-to fashion is long sleeved shirts & leather jackets anyways, so it doesn’t have the chance to come up most days. Or, well, there’s one leather jacket. It’s survived since high school by the grace of some higher power. If they were just a little more folksy, and Flynn wasn’t around, Rowan would probably be the crust punk to end ALL crust punks (they already smell like they could be). Why buy new clothes if the old ones still work? That money is best spent elsewhere, like on their bikes. Or, well, new boots are good, too.

Old art depicts them as agent 3 from Splatoon. This is still true! That timeline is just no longer the main focus.
