Sunday can be described as a literal ball of sunshine. He’s almost always smiling or telling a joke, and finds it very hard to ever be unfriendly. He’s quick to make friends and is a major extrovert. But behind the smiles he can be very unsure of himself and even border on self loathing at times. He has trouble controlling his impulses when it comes to things like drinking, partying, or even using certain types of magic. He’s working on it though, and has come a long way from where he was before he joined the guild.

He's very conflict adverse, often trying to stay out of any fueds and arguements that go beyond just silly little drag house rivalries. He also has a bitter side that he has trouble hiding around people who's vibes are particuarly nasty. He finds himself getting rather snippy with people like that.

BACKSTORY

Sunday was the only son of a traveling paladin named Magedelena Reyes, and Gottfried Kaiser, the Baron of Lokershtal, a city rife with political corruption. Yet he was only raised by his father, being told his mother died when he was born. Which Sunday always figured was why his father was always so cold and cruel to him. Sunday’s father kept him on a short leash and tried to raise him to become the next baron. But Sunday fortunately had his deva and his friends to put him on the right track, though he would often rebel against his father by sneaking out and getting drunk, only to be escorted back home once they found him.

One day he found an old journal in his family library that told of a dangerous sort of magic called binding that allowed him skills he’d never had before. He found himself researching it, though never went through with trying a binding until one day after a particuarly nasty arguement with his father. He was deteremined to get back at his father somehow and did his first binding. The spirit he struck a deal with made him better at general subterfuge, and with those he aimed to find some dirt on his father to humiliate him or even blackmail him. But instead he found information that showed how deeply the corruption ran. It told of horrible acts his father had played a part in, political rivals who has gone missing along with their families, records of where taxes had been horribly missused, and more.

Horrified, he ended up whistleblowing to the people everything his father and the rest of the city’s government had done publicly during the town's summer festival, inciting a riot that would eventually lead to a rebellion that as far as he knows is still going. He ended up having to flee the city, eventually finding himself at the Champion’s doorstep. Since joining he realized how much binding was corrupting his body and eventually managed to break away from it and has since become a bard and is much happier with it.

DESIGN NOTES

• Sunday has sharp teeth and claw-like nails that are naturally black.

• He has several tattoos. He has Sunflowers on his right bicep, the death tarot card on his inner right forearm, an eye surrounded by feathers on the back of his left hand, a large octopus on his left arm, black bands with eyes around his wrists, a black band around his left index finger, and a squid on his left thigh.

• He almost never takes off his black hat or his sunglasses.

• He tends to wear black eyeliner and lipstick

• His freckles are lighter than his skin tone.
