Mercury is an introverted and thoughtful Cryox. Although he is a lonely soul, he seems perfectly content with staying that way and limiting his interactions with others. Others mistake his aversion to social settings for shyness. He has no trouble participating in conversation or group activities; he just prefers not to. Mercury is considered independent in his own study, but overall he relies on his colleagues to help in the grand scheme of things.

To those who know him on a deeper level, Mercury is inquisitive about almost everything around him. He will always seek answers where answers are to be had, and he loves a good challenge when solving his projects. This plays a big part in his stubbornness; he often spends hours and days on end on a task until he finds a suitable outcome. It also portrays itself in a less aggressive way; Mercury will always come back to a finished project and find ways to improve and edit it, making sure the finished product is state of-the-art...constantly. Which in turn makes him passionate about his work and eager to gush about his new findings and experimental excerpts.

Mercury prides himself on his strong sense of morals, and he rarely strays from these morals unless prompted to cough cough SnapJaw cough cough. After all, he believes nobody should be treated inhumanely, no matter how corrupt they are. Because of this, Mercury sees himself as morally dependable. Able to soothe tempers and solve conflicts with his level-headedness and rational thinking. This, however, only applies when he is not directly involved in a situation. When he is in one, he panics a little, even more so when it's one of SnapJaw's "adventures"

Universal Translation

The user concentrates on another creature or object to translate written text or spoken word. Only the caster can understand the translated, and it has no visual effect to anyone else. This spell does not cover laughter, abreviations, or random assorted noises. Spell ends when the user stops concentrating.

Astral Portal

The caster opens a starry portal of various size depending on the users current power level. If concentrated upon this portal can lead to a specific destination, if not it will lead to a random destination. It has been theorized that if concentration is suddenly broken, anything currently going through a portal will be lost to the void. Portals will not lead to anywhere the caster has not been.

Meteor Shower

The user uses all of their power to summon a meteor shower that targets a specific area. Meteors of varying size and weight come crashing down at high speeds until they hit the ground or they are stopped. The larger the area, the shorter the spell. Caution is advised, because this spell is known to sap all available mana if unchecked.

Healing Halo

The caster takes their halo, charges it with a sparkling glow, and enlarges it. This can be used on an individual or placed on the ground for a larger area of affect. The targets must go through the halo to be healed, and it takes some portion of the casters health to heal them. This spell cannot be used on objects.
