Amity Briolette

Personality:

Amity is a person who can be blunt and to the point, specially around strangers. She can appear aloof and disinterested to those who don't know her well, but close friends (such as Claribel) can pick up that it's often a sign that Amity's shy or anxious. Amity can even be a little sassy when it calls for it, but knows (generally) when not to go too far. 

Background:

Amity is a tailor who, in recent years, have become curious about the region's pokemon and how they are capable of surviving up north. Focusing on Bug-like Pokemon, but not exclusively, they have decided to venture the region to understand how they keep warm, and hopes to use that knowledge when designing clothes for high-end clients. This pursuit of knowledge is funded by Poplar, who has tasked 9 trainers to research one of the nine types of pokemon native to the  Scarla region -and ultimately, use the data to compare their taxonomy with those of other regions.

As a tailor, Amity has an expert hand at delicate tasks, and often rely on their partner, Tomato, to keep their sewing materials within arm's reach. Though they mainly focus on high-end, professional looks, they're not opposed to the occasional work tailoring costumed looks for the region's pokemon contests.
