Hifira

nIerqxo.png

𝓑 orn into a noble family, Hifira learned much of high society from a young age. Her position as a baron's daughter meant her family was at the lower end of high class and often received difficult treatment at social gatherings. Hifira learned to dislike many of the other nobles who choose to remain ignorant of the issues they create.

Her perspective was not always so positve. She spent her youth believing the words of her "friends." That the lower class were nothing but servants and people who owed their lives to the ones so generously feeding them. A quick trip to the market that ended up winding her lost and in the slums opened her eyes to the consequence of ignorance and disrespect to another human. Poverty was nothing but a lousy excuse to raid another nation instead of finding a sustainable answer to the nobles' selfish lives. Hifira dedicated her school life to researching a means to end food insecurity, leading to a love of herbology and appreciation of sustainable agriculture. She wishes to travel to Corazón, the pillar of academics to further her knowledge and hopefully find a solution to end the war. She reserves a fair amount of her spare time to visit the slums and is working to restore functional farmland to them. Right now the land is still in a recovery phase while she treats the sick.

Hifira is studious and stern while completing her work. She prefers to sit outside if possible while reading books that mainly pertain to medicinal research. If spending time outside isn't possible, Hifira will remain in her study or visit the city's library. She also frequents the bakery quite often and enjoys the company of Efkairia and Zestos who she seems to cross paths with more often than others do- much to their dismay. While not on the clock or just doing chores, she is cheerful and approachable.

Upon first meeting Shibaan and Aislinn, she is distrustful of them and dislikes their ways of conduct. She hates how Shibaan is so reserved and emotionally dense to the point that she is almost stupid in social situations. Hifira hates even more how Aislinn is brash and reckless. However, Hifira finds out that Shibaan emotes her feelings through song and finds this both endearing and sad. She observes Aislinn to frequently use her cunning nature to get them out of trouble and is actually sensitive to others. Hifira has come to cherish their friendship after getting to know that their differences didn't make them any less of a good person.

Notes

✦ Hifira likes to paint her nails with dyes she makes from various plants.

✦ She is straightforward and has a very clear cut perspective on life. This tests her judgement when a situation is in a grey zone.

✦ Suprisingly very judgmental and gets progressively more snarky the less she likes someone. Aislinn has commented that she acts like a cat- spiteful and judgmental of others but tolerant to those she likes.

✦ When chaos happens, Hifira is often the one who keeps them all together long enough for the others to think of a viable plan.

✦ At first she was miffed that both Aislinn and Shibaan pronounced her name differently. Shibaan says Hi-fear-uh while Aislinn says He-fai-ra. They have been corrected.

✦ After the events of Checkmate, Hifira uses her notes from journaling their quest to turn it into a novel. Before publishing it, she received approval from her friends but decides that it would not see the public eye after all. The novel was book-bound but never left her drawers. Hifira went on to write other novels which she chose to publish.

✦ Current worth (not including my own art): $130.25
