No one knows where he came from, just that one day he showed up.

If you follow the cobblestone streets in Nabula, you'll eventually reach your destination. Branching off of these well travelled paths are the dirt roads leading to other cities. Perhaps this is how Efkairia came to Hedgestone. He wandered in from a dirt path and has been wandering the cobblestone ever since.

Efkairia is often seen in the corner of your eye. A disappearing wisp of his white tail. Black ears peaking over garden shrubs like a circling shark. On rare occasions, he may be sitting on a fencepost observing the people passing by with a strangely knowing expression. Some have even stopped to converse with him and find his company to be like a sigh of relief.

"He tilts his head and looks me in the eyes to listen. Then blinks and smiles like he understands."

Many have started offering food and water for Efkairia when they run into him and will suddenly find the ring they lost or a misplaced stuffed animal to be waiting in the mailbox when they return home.

Recently, the stray tom has been spotted frequenting the library and bakery. We suspect he's taken a liking to the studious red-head Hifira and the resident Norweign Forest Cat, Zestos.
