Summary

At a young age, Lily had a troubled life. She endured many troubles and traumas, each one creating a crack in her mental state. When she felt herself begin to break, the young girl holed herself away. She hurt herself, didn't sleep, and hardly ate. Eventually, she imagined she had begun to hear a soft voice. At first, she believed she was simply conjuring it from her head. But one night, when Lily was alone, scared, and bloody, an entity appeared before her, touching her arm and clearing it of her wounds. In shock, Lily asked if this being was an angel. This 'angel' introduced itself in that same soft voice as PURITY. PURITY promised it would take away Lily's pain, keep her safe, take her away from those who hurt her. Still in shock, Lily didn't think twice before agreeing. She was relieved that someone, something, finally looked out for her. The angel told the girl to close her eyes, and when she opened them she was in a new home. A better home. Away from the pain. Since then, Lily has clung to the guardian angel, always counting on it to save her when she is in trouble or when she destroys herself.

Lily quickly learned that others had no awareness of this guardian angel, and kept it a secret. When she would leave her home, the angel followed, floating alongside her and keeping its eyes on those who passed by. Most often, PURITY is silent, simply observing the environment around Lily. In contrast, Lily's personality seemingly flipped. Gone was the quiet, meek girl who could never stand up for herself. Out of seemingly nowhere, carried a new air of confidence. She became outgoing. Of course, she still presented her true self indoors, but she didn't seem afraid of the world anymore. Lily knew that if she ever had a problem, PURITY would easily snap it away from existence.
