- What first appears to be strangely colored flames propelling the ship are actually blobs of reuniclus-like gel. The same gel is used for an arm-like structure that brings things onboard, and as a 'helmet' that both supplies whatever the pilot needs to breathe, and helps protect them from alien airborne diseases.
