Origin

A once much more alive adventurer, Captain Matt Snowstorm met his end after a life of lucky adventures. His death was not at the hands of a deadly trap or a powerful monster, but at a waffle the he had choked on. When he awoke, he was within a realm of spirits, and now suddenly had two tails. He was able to leave the realm easily due to unknown means, effectively making him immortal. He's known for being a skilled inventor, creating bombs, cannons, and even his airship he sails through the clouds, the Aurora. After his initial death and rebirth as a nekomata, he has gained a few odd abilities, such as control of fire, enhanced speed, and the power to raise and control the dead. He has been known recently to study alchemy, and has used it to formulate fuel for the Aurora, as well as to create golems when combined with his inventing skill- This has also lead to him testing the use of his necromancy with technology and alchemy, creating creatures that have somehow escaped...

Life in Hyacinth

After being allowed to live within the kingdom, and having an area specifically for his massive airship designed, he spends his days now safely within the kingdom's walls. Matt himself is however likely the most dangerous thing within several miles. He has a habit of rebuilding the kingdom with "upgrades", slides, cannons, explosive packed secret tunnels, and other such weird additions have been found and dismantled by the prince's orders. He has also been known to use his skill at inventing, alchemy training, and necromancy, to create strange beings...

The dagger of envy

A dagger he found in the ocean surrounding the Hyacinth Kingdom, the dagger of envy once contained the demon lord of envy himself, Leviathan. The weapon upon being found sensed the captain's demonic nekomata energy, and quickly marked his very soul with a brand. This made the captain it's chosen wielder, using his energy to make itself a new body, one that appeared with traits similiar to the nekomata himself, one with two tails, a massive appetite, and a taste for being a gremlin. Levi, as he was now called, is allowed to roam the kingdom, as he doesn't seem to recall anything of his previous form or life, and seems to just be content eating sweets and helping the captain design gadgets.
