Double was named after his extra pair of ears!
Crystals and Ears are baded off of the sunstone crystal
His antennae are fluffy, akin to those of the feather horned beetle
He has a very angular face- his cheekbones are quite defined !
His mandibles actually sit just beyond his mouth, helping him eat- but he still has a mouth!
02 — Personality
Doublesun is a senior guardian and has since lost any patience for a half-assed job. Loyal to those he deems worthy, Doublesun is critical of his clanmates despite their best efforts. He considers himself reseved, seldom bothering to engage in conversation with many of the younger cats of his clan.
Doublesun thinks of himself highly. He has seen many thing through his time and demands respect. His previous connection to Waspstar illuminated a path of self-proclaimed righteousness. Cunning, a quick thinker and smart on his feet- Despite Doublesun's arrogant nature, he is smart.
Doublesun is critical. Critical of his leader, of clanmates who spend a little too much time on the surfce, of other clans, and of halfclanners. Never said outright, but very heavily implied- Double thinks less of the amount of mangy halfclanners in his clan. Double is traditional. He enjoys the pure Cavernclanners.

03 — Background
Kithood
Born under a young Wildstar's reign; Doublekit was named kindly after the appearance of his extra set of ears. His parents- Morningdew and Jumpingcoil- Adored him. They showered him in love and protected him from the realities of life deep within the moutains.
Doublekit was taught by his father the way a proper Cavernclanner should walk, talk, and act.
Apprenticehood
Doublepaw was apprenticed to Warrenstrike, a close friend of his father's, and was taught the morals he still holds closely. Cavernclanners are the most civil of the Clans, That Halfclanners are impure, and that Doublepaw was a representation of the entire clan's backbone. Doublepaw was demanded to be the poster boy of Cavernclan.
Apprenticed next to him, was Wasppaw. The two became close friends, Wasppaw leading the way and Doublepaw following with full support. The molly made Doublepaw's belly flutter, and as such he kept to her side throughout all of his apprenticeship.
Guardianship
Doublesun and Wasptail graduated together, excitedly taking on the life of a real guardian. Wasptail rose quickly through the ranks of Guardian to Guardian Captain, and soon the loyal deputy of Wildstar. During this time, Double and Wasp began to drift. Roumors spread of Wasptail and another molly being close- but that hardly had time to mull over in his mind before his childhood friend was suddenly leader.
Waspstar reigned with an iorn claw, one that only made Doublesun fall harder for. Despite not being chosen as deputy, Doublesun worked closely with the leader- often feeling jealous of the older Duskface, Waspstar's deputy.
It did not take long for Doublesun to discover the going-ons of Waspstar, but the scrawny calico tom had never said a word. He felt it was his duty to keep it a secret, just like Waspstar wanted.
Word of the rebellion reached Doublesun quickly, and when confronted about his loyalty to the Humanity of Cavernclan by Duskface, Doublesun lied. He promised he knew nothing of what had been going on and that he was shocked, heartbroken and outraged.
Doublesun did not warn Waspstar of the rebellion- rather he hid when judgement day called. He promised Duskstarhis full support despite his lack of appearance at the rally. Doublesun still fear's the howls of Duskface from that night.
Senior Guardianship
Doublesun lived on after the rally, being a cold shoulder, a cornerstone, for Cavernclan. He cheered for Duskstar and promises the leader his full support- despite the gears inside his lanky body that beg to tear the old leader apart. How lily-livered the leader of the great Cavernclan could be.
Despite the resentment, Doublesun remains deeply loyal to his clan and the morals of Waspstar- though he would never speak of it.

05 — Relationships
Reluctant ally.
Despite Doublesun's disapproval of Duskstar's leadership choices, he still manages respect for him.
With both cats being some of the oldest cats in the clan- few who remember Wildstar- a sort of comradery ties the two of them together.
Childhood crush
Doublesun often found that Waspstar was the only one who really saw him. Even if her affection towards him were in the name of manipulation, Doublesun was happy to be her subject.
After her death, Waspstar's name burned a hole in Doublesun's heart. He thought so kindly of her, seeing the things she did wrong through rose tinted glasses.

Doublesun is a quiet cat, often being one to observe and learn on how to do anything from interacting with others to some technique. This however has left him quite lonely of a cat, not having that many friends and spending more time with his family or mentor than others. He has always been a bit more mature than others his same age, being rather calm and insightful vs rowdy and playful.
