Ringmaster is a large steam train working for a failing circus company. They've  gotten several warnings for their poor working conditions and animal care but continue to keep the show going. Ringmaster spends his nights talking with the performers and staff about it, he has terrible guilt over continuing to transport the circus around the country knowing the conditions they have to endure, but he knows if he makes a fuss he'll be sent away to be scrapped.
