Nightwing with some Sandwing blood, his grandfather was a Sandwing

Stoneclaws was born with his front legs paralyzed from just below the shoulders down. He also has a neurological disorder, which affects his speech and how he thinks. He has a custom built wheelchair to help him move. 

Stoneclaws lives in the Nightwing village in the rainforest, with both his parents. He was mostly left alone in their tiny hut, as his parents had to work multiple jobs in order to afford his medication, wheelchair, and other living expenses. However, Stoneclaws was fine with this, and has a healthy relationship with his parents. His parents decided to send him to Jade Mountain academy.
