Arcaan came from a comet that fell into earth, his species is the one of a parasite that needs a host to survive. In this case, Arcaan entered the body of a troublesome young man that was roaming around.
The 51 found him and tried really hard to contain him, but it's under Arcaan nature to be dangerous. Soon enough they notice it was easy leave him be and try to fight it. Still, Proyect A is not allowed to go outside of the base without supervision because as passive and curious he is, he's always trying to eat all biological thing he can find.
