The constellations are a product of the Pact. Under the eyepatch is an eye, though not Rok’s though they can use it. The eye belongs to The Lurker In The Shadows. The One Sliding Between The Worlds can see through the eye if it wants, and even if it’s not looking through it right now people looking into said eye see the distraction and infinity that The Shifting In The Empty has seen, often at the very least stunning and shocking them, and not uncommonly causing mild forms of Eldritch madness.

Rok was a university student who one day got really drunk with their friends and made up The Movement In The Darkness to scare people and did some ritual. They don’t really remember but they woke up feeling funny and surrounded by some sort of weird ritual thing. Turns out they’re a warlock now. They finished university and became an adventurer. They mostly make up a bunch of random stuff when they want to cast and. Well. so far it works. 

they have a ritual dagger. At least, they say it’s a ritual dagger, though it’s just a cool dagger that they decided to put a ”blessing” on.

they purposefully make their gender presentation as confusing as possible. They dodge pronoun questions if they hear people thinking they’re a guy they’ll show up in a pink dress the next day, that kind of thing. They gotta get their laughs in somehow. It’s funny for everyone who is in on the joke already.
