Calliope (Ca-LIE-oh-pee) was the secondary engine bought by the circus Ringmaster works for. She was well known for her beautiful singing voice, and would frequently lead the caravan in song while on long trips

Unfortunately, the circus company didn't have the funds to maintain her, so malfunctions and broken parts began to pile up, until she couldn't keep up pace with Ringmaster anymore.

At that point, the circus had already decided to downsize, which meant using only one engine, and Calliope was deemed too unsafe to stay, so she was sent to be scrapped.
