Sootpelt is a tricolour ragdoll cat with medium-long fur and amber eyes. He has a notch on his left ear. His name derives from the colour of his pelt. 

As a kit, Sootpelt was very adventurous, often getting into trouble. He once found a badger set on the moor and decided to explore inside. Luckily, it was just a small female badger, but he was still wounded from the encounter, leaving him with a notch on his ear.

He is great friends with Sunsong. His sister is Robinwing.

Despite his long fur making him loo bulky, Sootpelt is very agile and a fast runner. He is excellent at catching rabbits and other small prey. He is a bold and brave cat who does not hesitate to defend his clan. He is quite wary of other clans, and does not like the fact that Sunsong can be so friendly with them.
