Directive.

A golem reawakened with a singular goal in mind. Completely unstoppable, has no emotions nor seemingly any mercy or sense of compassion. Its only purpose seems to be becoming as strong of a weapon as possible.

Too bad someone lost its directions.

Personality

No one knows almost anything about Paroxysm. It appears to listen, sometimes, as if you tell it to "move" it typically does. It doesn't like cold, as it will flinch away from ice or chill powers. It watches, unnervingly, with no eyes, and does not seem to speak. It seems to be slower after its powers are used, but it is hard to tell if it feels pain.

Sometimes, you can catch it in a field, staring at nothing in particular, or at a courtyard trying to bury itself in flowers. If disturbed, it will quickly explode and leave one wondering if it was just a fluke, a spark of something there that never existed in the first place.

History

Once, a very long time ago, Paroxysm was something, something more than just a walking weapon. He was an assistant of sorts, a young mage in the Order who found he could touch things and shatter them. Not a very useful gift as a Witchfinder, but a great one as a Mage Protector, until the mage could not grow his power. He tried everything and so did his teachers, but his powers appeared to be stuck.

(What he did not realize, what he could not understand, was his powers took a piece of him with every chaotic burst. His essence tried to save him, but he ignored his instincts.)

A professor with a unique magical gift of their own approached the young mage with an idea. The professor could make golems, but could not make them useful to the Order. Could they perhaps combine their powers together into something grander than both of them?

They did. But the price was terrible.

The mage that Paroxysm was lives far, far away, trapped inside the chaos of its own drained essence. The soul is gone, all that is left is its simple directive, the need to do more for the Order. It knows how to get power; it feels it will be free if it does. Recently unearthed, it aims to gain as much power as possible through any means necessary.

But this tale is not going to have a happy ending.

Paroxysm is able to completely explode itself into porcelain shards which can fly up to 400 ft from him. The radius within the first 30 ft of the explosion causes burns and shocks for any who are caught within. It is able to spontaenously combust twice a day, and will take a few hours to reform by using the void of its spark, which is the only thing that stays together.

As of a ritual at the shrine, Paroxosym has gained +2 power, +1 corruption, making him fully corrupted.
