This is a design I made up.
When someone gets near them, the person hears a high pitch screech-like noise in their head. The closer you get to this creature, the louder it gets.
It causes technology to glitch, becomes static and unusable.
It has been observed that it can have an effect on the weather in the area it is currently in. Normally bizarre or unique weather.
This creature is always in pain, but it has gotten used to it.
The creature is dangerous for people to be around and I suggest you never go too close to this mysterious beast.
