Maddie “Dell” Castellana

Her name is also Maddie, but she's not to be confused with Maddie de Salazar. She goes by the nickname “Dell” because of her middle name, Delphina. The 17-year-old daughter of a minor League Gym Leader and a professional bass player and goddaughter of Chairman Rose, she lives a rather privileged life full of financial stability, moderate luxury, and jazz music. Despite this, she’s notoriously a bit shy, especially because of her stutter and separation anxiety, the latter most likely developing from living with a single father, though she grew incredibly close to her godfather, even among rumors that he and her father were involved in something more than a good friendship. At age sixteen, the chairman hired her to use her great photography skills to take photos at official League matches, which is something she greatly enjoys. She and Raihan are best friends, having a sort of big brother, little sister relationship, though Maddie’s not sure whether her love for him is familial or romantic. Her team consists of: a male, rapid strike Urshifu whom she saved as a runaway Kubfu; a male Mawile; a Nidorina; a female, shiny, super size Pumpkaboo, a male Flapple, and a male Zangoose.
