- As a "hybrid", Mercurio has received a lot of differing treatment from others. In general, he considers himself grateful to be able to witness both sides of that societal gap, and is even more grateful to have the opportunity to use that insight in an authority position 

- In almost every situation, he's patient and polite. A true gentleman. He always gives others the benefit of the doubt and tries to approach every issue fairly

- Takes criticism and hate in stride; knows when to take things to heart and when to ignore it

- Sometimes, his efforts to be impartial can get the better of him, and cause him to struggle with making decisions that impact others

- Collects crystals and pretty stones. He especially likes ones that are glittery
