THE WISE FOOL
"You suck harder than toilets in an airplane bathroom."
A rather questionable gargoyle, but it seems she just wants to survive in the high school chaos. Izel's witty, media-obsessed, and fairly anxious. She seems to know a lot of people, but many don't neccessarily know her. That's probably due to the fact as a gargoyle, she has the tendency to turn to pure stone and perches up above- She may be silent and unmoving in this state, but she hears and sees everything. Unfortunately, this has tainted her name as a "weird asshole" for being a passive lurker of this drama, when in reality she just turns to stone in either 1. Self-defense, 2. To preserve energy, or 3. Pranks and fun. Either way, she just tends to avoid conversation unless she's forced to cooperate- fair warning, though, she may sound disinterested if one doesn't appeal to her.
They're somewhat right, though. Years of not making many friends for being a bit eccentric has shifted her. It also appears a part of her is missing, AKA: Her wings. Gargoyles have wings, but Izel had hers "stolen" (She does not like to talk about it). Besides that, she may be impressive with her other monster-powers! Like breathing fire out of her mouth to heat up her food, or cry literal water fountains of pure water whenever her emotions overwhelm her! Luckily, she knows when to consider someone friend or foe. She's always enthusiastic with friends, making her more open to her personal life. She may appear detached and too hyperfocused on her obsessions, but she's always willing to share affection with people close to her.
(She also has a tendency to run into trouble. After all, this is Spooky High. Even if she's a nonconformist, she has been involved with some mischief to make someone's life a living hell. This is a terrifying side to her despite her coming off as chill. As long as you don't taunt her too much, I'm sure you'll be fine from her losing empathy towards you.)

Izel is socially awkward, and very much lacks in social tact. Because of this, she is perceived as weird to many. She's quiet and observing one minute, then hyperactive the next. Not to mention, her humor being so obnoxious not many can understand why she may laugh. Even if she's self aware that this demeanor pushes people away, she can't help it. Despite this, she is favored by those who understand her while those who dont... probably have opinions she'd rather not hear.
short-tempered
Izel, unfortunately, has sometimes let her anger get the best of her. She ends up saying things she'll regret later, or even cries in frustration. Her anger stems of being annoyed at things not going her way and being scared of becoming a prime target of mockery and being misunderstood. And, ironic enough, her foolishness makes her look ridiculous and ends up self-destructing.
clever
She has quick-wit, which is enough to talk herself out of situations when she's in trouble. She's also a quick learner and uses her observation skills well. Izel can also, albeit rarely, manipulate a conversation with some use of wise words fairly well if it means getting what she wants, showing how selfish she can really be. Though, with her lack of common sense and having some sense of anxiousness, you'd have to know her well to see how intelligent she truly is. Because she sure as hell acts like a fucking idiot.

Izel is ridden in some sense of anxiousness, and doesn't trust anyone or anything easily. She stresses over small stuff and overthinks many things, when in reality they aren't that major in some cases. She always pictures worst case scenarios and constantly needs assurance that everything will be fine. And, knowing she has the tendency to act on impulse, this makes her paranoia worse. Not to mention, she is insecure on many things about herself. She was not always like this.

While Izel isn't the most friendliest, she is still decent enough to let people talk to her. With friends, she is very relaxed and outgoing with them. Even if she prefers to keep to herself, those she's comfortable with get her never-ending enthusiasm. She gives people a good laugh and has her times of being positively chaotic. Although she's prone to anger, she feels much more self-controlled with them.

Whether it's something she's mad, sad, or happy about- she always yields them in a strong manner. She needs to be more wise on how she uses and controls this.

[ ex-lover ]
(???) met her in the city streets, albeit Izel did not take interest of them. But, with (???)'s charm, they had heavily caught her attention and connected to her persona. She was touched, and both became close as time went on. When she was 16,(???) had began to take this to the next level by courting her, which had led her into developing a crush on them. She presumed this as mutual pining as they began to have moments of romance, but she was wrong.
Unfortunately, this period was short as she began to lose feelings realizng (???) had mysteries to them. They were rather cryptic, feeling like she did not truly know them. But, she comes to speculation that they are actually a monster hunter who merely used her for a reward. It's already too late, and she is drugged that night and has her wings amputated. She was paralyzed and concious during her ampuation. Now, she keeps quiet of this incident and never saw them again, fueling mixed emotions in her for years.
