Cain

"What do you mean I'm not good at my job? I'm simply friends with the crows."

Cain in life was a man who loved being alive; he wanted to experience many things in his life, but he wasn't very wealthy to be able to travel or really do much at all. He mostly stayed in a small town on the side of a shore, keeping to the locals and himself, trying to help everyone as much as he could even though he wouldn't get much back for it.

Cain fell ill one day. Unfortunately, the illness was fatal; there wasn't anything he could do. Cain asked his neighbords an odd request- he wanted to be buried in a spot in the woods away from town. It was empty land, but Cain would often go there just to experience the nature around him in his alone time. After Cain passed, they did as he asked, and took his body to the woods for his burial.

Years passed. A man by the name of Ripley (AKA Ripo) was tending to his farmland, when one day, one of his scarecrows started talking to him- it was Cain, the poltergeist, inhabiting the scarecrow. They became good friends after this, Cain helping Ripo on his farm, and Ripo helping Cain live comfortably after his death.
