Born Oct 19 1963 and raised in central Texas, Otis grew up the middle child in between his two sisters, Winona “Winnie” and Marion “Mary”. He and his family lived on a fairly large ranch where they raised texel sheep for meat and wool, a task Otis took great pleasure in. Alongside this pleasure, Otis also took up bareback bronc riding in rodeos, developing great love and skill for this hobby in part thanks to his riding instructor and mentor- a strange man Otis nonetheless developed great trust and respect for. Otis' last memories as a mortal man revolve around a rodeo and celebration, before cutting to predatory eyes in the darkness and then, nothing. After this, he only recalls waking, stumbling home, and killing his sister Winnie in a bout of feral Hunger.

Otis eventually found his way to Philadelphia, where he took up residence in a place known as Willow Grove Sanctuary. It is here he became part of a coterie, and found fellow Gangrel who taught him the ways of the clan and unlife in general. It is also here he learned of his ancestor Xavier, and here that he is steadily growing his power. However, it is here he has found himself a soldier in a war, and the question remains: how long can innocence last in a war? How long does it take for a mere pup to grow into a Beast?
