He's just a little guy! . . . right? Roy is about three-fourths of the way between being dog-sized and wolf-sized and, like Luster, his brother in spirit, he uses it to his advantage. It's amazing how much you can get away with when you're small and cute. Unlike Luster, who is able to alter minds with the effects of drugs without needing to use them, Roy is able to skip a step and directly manipulate emotions, essentially being able to condition creatures into reacting to things with the emotional response he wants. While he isn't actively malicious and doesn't like to mess with anyone's emotional state for more than a few days at a time, he does occasionally spend more time than that and foster a bond between him and a creature. This is often in order to lessen the long-term damages that would normally spawn from the victim having to deal with both losing some or most of their teeth and the effects of Luster's abilities. Though just because he attempts to make the process easier, he is still no saint, and has no moral quarrel against the collecting of teeth -- even when the victim is actively awake, aware, and terrified out of their mind. He has a choker similar to Luster's, albeit with a rainbow of smaller teeth, but he rarely wears it due to how much time he spends around creatures aware of Luster that would immediately be able to tell he worked with the spiral-eyed kit. As that would sabotage any potential progress in any endeavors, illegal or not, he only wears it when around creatures that already work with Luster, or creatures that do not know who that is. While his ability to manipulate colors is seen as much less impressive by his brother, he still makes use of it, both as a factor that helps with looking innocent, and as help in being able to hide away in crowds of creatures or objects by being able to coat himself in an entirely different color long enough for him to book it or his threat to pass.

Regarding his emotional manipulation, it is sometimes used unintentionally. While he can direct it and cause specific emotions in others, it is often an undirected "oil spill" of his own emotions that he does not know how to control. In order to avoid this, he usually doesn't go out in the public. When he does, the situation often leaves him feeling bleak and annoyed, which keeps creatures away from him and a potential spill of emotions . . . usually, anyways. Kits with ability immunities aren't exactly something to be expected. The bonds that might form with that aren't something to be expected either.

As much as he doesn't entirely mind helping Luster, he only does it when in the town--which he much prefers to avoid. He believes himself to be better than he once was, and he is, but the town still tempts him. It's a lawless wasteland anyways and though he hates to admit it, Luster pays well, and he could use the money. Plus, he's his brother and he loves him. Luster doesn't share the same appreciation though.
