Solque

Backstory

 Solque is the youngest child of a wealthy couple. He was born and raised along the outskirts of the city of Savali, where he lived with his parents; his sisters, Vetta and Vaya; and his twin brother, Nylark. Growing up, Solque had a fairly normal childhood. 

In his teen years, Solque realized that he was gay. He attempted to hide this since he wasn't sure how his friends or family would react. He ended up dating a girl who he was already fairly close with, to hide his sexuality. He ended up breaking up with the girl only a few weeks after they started dating. Shortly after the breakup, Solque came out to his family and his friends and they were all very supportive of him. 

Solque eventually came out to the girl who he dated. She promised him that she wouldn't tell anyone, but she told one of her friends who told one of her friends, and so on. Soon, the entire grade knew, and while most of them didn't seem to have any strong opinions there was a small group of students who started to pick on him. It was mostly just petty name calling, so Solque tried not to let it get to him. 

By the time he finished school, Solque had become frustrated by all the name calling. He wanted to get away from it all, so he ended up joining a circus that was based in a nearby city. He wasn't planning for it to become a permanent position, but he ended up really enjoying it and making some really close friends so he decided to stay. 

Personality

Solque has a reputation for being very kind and genuinely caring towards others. He's always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who may happen to need it. He is generally well liked by most people and makes friends easily. He's very passionate, and tends to get a bit too defensive when someone says something bad about things and people that he cares about. And despite all his positive traits, he can sometimes be a little bit arrogant and will often try to show off in front of others. 

Relationships with other characters

Jaire: Solque was originally tasked with training Jaire. He was really determined to help Jaire out, and make sure that he was getting along and fitting in with the rest of the performers. During their training sessions together, the two grew more close to each other and they became close friends. Solque sometimes finds Jaire to be a bit clingy, but he has never told him that and doesn't even really mind.

• He was originally supposed to be a minor character
• He loves coffee. 
• Solque likes to annoy his brother by referring to himself as "the better looking twin" even though they are identical.
• He's been known to give nicknames to almost everyone. In a similar vein, he also refers to anyone younger than him as a "kid" or a "child." 
• He's in a relationship with another man named Dover. They've been together for four years.
