About 
Hermes was born and raised to be a showdog, selectively bred and chosen specifically for the role.
While performing, he did moderately. He never won, which seemingly got to his and his owner's heads
a bit as his training became more rigurous. He didn't want to be seen as average.

When the meteor hit, his owner was killed as her house was collapsed by the impact. Hermes quickly discovered
his ability, finding it unique and exciting. However, he was captured and taken to the Laboratory, where his powers
were stunted much to his irritation.

He met Winnie, a Golden Retriever who's power helped his, so he chose to become close to her to benefit his own
abilities. He also gained Senbei as a companion, who he kept around due to the Shiba being ready to defend his every
move.
