Ren Lubell is very different than how they were originally perceived all the way back in season 2, but the core of their coldness remains. Now a mathematics professor, Ren is much more professional and even tempered. HIs original edit has now become a relic of old Ouroboros, but their old harshness that landed only one jury vote in the finale is still visible.
Young and quietly arrogant on their original season. While showcasing some strategic chops, maneuvering their way to the final 3, they spent a lot of their time antagonizing other competitors, unwilling to fully trust others and betraying allies just to get ahead. Despite thinking he was brought to the finale for their strategy, it turns out they were more of a goat due to their utterly poor social skills. To their surprise, more people saw Ren as a nuisance rather than an actual contender. Now, Ren has come back almost 20 years later. They aren't here for redemption, but rather just to have another try at the game with a more mature mindset.
