Astrid was born alone, her mother pretty much dropping the clutch and fucking off, weasel mom luckily finding them being able to tell which had life and which didn’t. Astrid was hyper from the start having an unusual amount of energy for her caste and always hungry burning everything off just as fast as she put it in. She found her love for music by watching the festivals that would swing in, reading and flailing over rockers in magazines and on the television there had been plenty of time where weasel mom had to cover her ears while Astrid screamed over pretty men in the magazines, quickly realizing that she had an attraction to fins which was again odd for her caste.

She practiced day in and day out on singing being a star was her dream, entering the sing or get culled contest the high stakes made her push her self and focus it was either be good or die, she won was given both the trophy and the right to cull the loser which she of course did. Through that she had offers for her to come sing with bands thrown at her. She chose a band called Spitfire who’s founder was a lilacblood a mistake and a blessing, She grew in popularity for her looks and energy on stage quickly becoming the bands bread and butter and with her getting big Devlyn, the lilacblood took her as his mate, Outside they seemed happy but inside their living room often became a boxing ring and she always lost he didn’t give her much choice in anything not even other quadmates. Rasi was the only one she would tell everything to the male being able to keep a secret, it was on a tour when it happened they got into another fight and Astrid had, had enough and was quitting and leaving him. He got pissed hitting her making her stumble back and fall down a flight of stairs. Rasi was the one whom took her to the hospital, each and every time while Dur and Dev had it out. Since that fall she had a rough time remembering things, little details and was forgetful for a while light was an issue of being to bright, after the fall for the most part Rasi took care of her which made her dub him as her adopted older brother.

 It was also during her short term recovery that she met Needle enjoying both his looks and personality, his hype almost matching hers she found it much easier to talk to him about anything. With the memory loss here and there sometimes she wrote lyrics on her arm or hand to make her remember, things started to get rough, Devlyn was back at it at a show they were doing when it ended successfully finding out he had left early she went to celebrate with him, but instead she found him in bed with a groupie that had followed them since she was in the hospital, she ran, ran from him and right into both Rasi and Dur with tears streaming down her face. Devlyn and the groupie disappeared that night, it was later discovered that he was planning on replacing Astrid with said groupie in all aspects. After Dev was gone they needed a new lead guitarist Vasuki came into the picture at the time having been good friends with Ast since Sing or be culled. Currently: Astrid took over the band when Dev vanished, renaming it Critical Circuit her memory has gotten a little better but she still forgets and looses stuff while on tour, She made Rasi and Rus lead singers for fun and at the time she didn’t see any other bands pulling it off, it was new, plus they could help her remember and give the fans a good god damn show. She is determined to not let this fuck up the career she loves, culled for and fought tooth and nail to get and it’s something she hates bringing up and talking about even with those closest to her.
