Smiles

Smiles was found my Silco after his parents were hunted down and killed by human traffikers, hiding in a outcrop in the rocks near Singed's labratory. Silco upon realizing his race was incredibly rare and thinning out, thought it might be beneficial to have something so revered, took the small child in. However after spending much time with the kit grew to be quite fond of him. Silco made sure smiles was educated in many things to eventually help him in raising the nation of Zaun to its feet. Smiles accompanied Silco to most meetings with Singed, who he would eventually refer to as Uncle Singed, where he took up researching and reading on the gentlemans notes while they proceded to do their experiments. Smiles flourished under Silcos watchful hand, growing quite affectionate of art and literature.

Months before the accident that cosst Vander his life, Smiles threw himself into attempting to further his education, he stumbled upon a flyer that had floated down from piltover that was talking about an opportunity at the academy for a scolarship. Smiles brought the flier to Silco with 3 ideas in his head about how to utilize it to their advantage: he would be able to get an understanding of how Piltover ran inside and out, he would be able to further his education to later help run Zaun, and he would be able to get inside the academy and get him inside knowledge. Silco approved of his plans and helped him submit his essays and work to the academy. A few weeks after he submitted the essays to Piltover, the undercity was thrown into chaos at the lose of Vander, and Silco appeared home damaged and cut up carrying one of the children Vander was caring for. After helping bandage Silco and Jinx up the situation and what occured at the warehouse was explained to him, he quickly became protective of Jinx as well. Jinx found her way into Smiles bed quite often the first few weeks, Silco found himself quite proud of the two of them. After roughly three or four months of having Jinx around Smiles recieved a letter back from Piltover regarding his essay's from Heimerdinger, Silco presented the letter to smiles and togehter they sat on the floor of his bedroom as they opened the letter. Without much surprise from the both of them he had been accepted to the academy and had to report to the academies office in a weeks time to fill out the paperwork and discuss dorm options.

Upon return to Zaun he made his way to The Last Drop to find Silco, thankfully he was able to make it up to Silco with minimal issues. When he knocked on Silco's office door he heard both Sevika and Silco inside discussing an up and coming delivery, at his knock the voices stopped and Sevika opened the door with an angry scowl on her face when she realized it was Smiles her features softened for a split second before she motioned him inside. Both Silco and Sevika were worried for the boy as he explained everything that had happened prior to his return, the two being overprotective of the kid they both viewed as a son discussed their next courses of action. Silco offered Smiles a shower, to bandage him up and a nap before they discussed what he would want to do, which he agreed to quickly, still covered in blood and now exhausted. The water stung as it cleansed the mix of glowing pink and murky red from Smiles, he hissed as he washed his hair scalp still tender from where the guards had pulled at it, the soap that covered his body went from a muddy redish color to a faint pink and eventually white. As Smiles dried off he realized how severe his wounds were, he threw on some boxers when there was a knock at the door with Smiles' permission Silco slid in with a first aid kit. The two sat on the edge of Smiles' bed as Silco helped patch his sons wounds, they discussed everything from shimmer production, to Jinx, all the way to recent chembaron meetings anything to keep Smiles mind off of Piltover and the sting of the needle as Silco stitched the deeper cuts up. After all of his wounds had been patched up and bandaged accordingly, Silco patted his head aoftly and tucked Smiles in, before leaving the room Silco mentioned that if he was needed he would be in his office and closed the door softly. Smiles slept soundly through the night even with the club music blasting above him, the next morning he awoke and was awoken to a fast paced excited knocking at his door he quickly slipped on some clothes and made his way to his door. Grogily he opened it to find the energetic bluette he called his little sister outside his door, rocking between the heels of her feet and her toes she quickly drew the larger pinkette into her arms. With a quick hiss at the pressure on his wounds he attempted to hug her back when she pulled away quickly apologizing and welcoming him back home. He smiled and patted the shorter girl on her head, he motioned her into the room and asked her to help him check his bandages to see if any were bleeding through. After only having to change the guaze on one wound the two made their way out to the main floor of the club, where Sevika sat at the bar, when the large woman noticed the two approaching the stairs next to her she was quick to get out of her seat and come check on Smiles, doing a once over of him and asking him a million questions that he laughed off with a couple of "im fines" before Sev turned her attention to Jinx and chastised her for not letting smiles get up to Silco. With their bickering beginning Smiles laughed a small bit to himself and proceeded up the stepd to Silco's office, after being let in he was met with a large hug from his father and some more questions in regards to hos he was feeling. Smiles burried his head into his fathers arms, for awhile the two stood there holding eachother glad the other one was back in their lives. After roughly 20 minutes Silco sighed and motioned for his son to sit in his chair while he leaned on his desk, the two discussed what Smiles was wanting to do from here, Smiles disagreed to Silco's suggestion of taking it easy and announced he had every intention of continuing with his original plan to help Silco raise Zaun. Silco sighed and asked him to atleast do light work of some variety stay here in the office and help with paperwork, or help Jinx with her tinkering, without a missed step Smiles announced he wanted to help with Silco's shimmer production believeing it to be an easy import into Piltover and an easy way to poison and weaken Piltover from within. Silco agreed and thetwo set off towards where Singed was currently set up shop, where after weeks of reasearch and a messed up shimmer delivery, Smiles had the idea based off of the way the guards reacted to his blood to manufacture a version of shimmer that included minor traces of his blood to induce hallucinogenic effects with heightened addiction values. The three of them set out to find a balance that wasnt lethal, after a couple of bad batches they were able to make the perfect balanced recipe that changed the color of shimmer from purple to a bright pink.

Smiles now helps manage the factory of shimmer that is produced with his blood, and can be foun dhanging around the last drop. he has a special aerial hoop that dangles in the center of the bar near Silco's office he often hangs out on during club nights. He has become extremely aggressive when neccesary and has an extreme distaste for Piltover and any enforcers he meets.
